STAFF / BOARD OF DIRECTORS
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR: Sal Russo

Sal has been involved in all aspects of video production for over twenty years. After receiving degrees in aerospace and industrial engineering, Sal went on to earn his masters in "media and technology" from Boston University. He was the supervisor of the video production department at General Electric in Lynn, Massachusetts from 1978 to 1987. Then Sal became the president of VALED Video Services in 1987 when he started his own corporate video production company. Sal has always been committed to staying on the cutting edge of technology, and in 1998 co-created Arcamedia Inc., a company that produced all aspects of multimedia productions. In 2002, Sal left the corporate world to successfully do freelance video and multimedia productions. Sal became the Executive Director of SATV in January of 2003.
PROGRAM DIRECTOR: David Gauthier

David is a Salem State College graduate who earned his degree in English. He is a life-long Salem resident who has been involved with SATV for about nine years as a volunteer, producer, intern and employee. David was the Program Coordinator at SATV for a few years before leaving to teach television studio classes at Salem High School. David then returned to SATV to become the Program Director, and has been doing so now for five years. Not only does David manage the programs for Salem's three local channels 3, 15, and 16, but he also teaches many of the production classes offered at SATV. For the past three years, David has also been teaching video and advanced video classes part time at Salem State College.
TRAINING AND PRODUCTION COORDINATOR: Patrick Kennedy

Patrick Kennedy is a graduate of Endicott College. He grew up in Palo Alto, California, and has lived and worked in Salem since graduating college in 2000. Patrick started at SATV as a full-time intern, then became a part-time staff providing expertise with various studio and field productions, and in March 2006 became the Training & Production Coordinator.
PRODUCTION ASSISTANT: Andrew Fritz

Andrew is a graduate of Salem State College and his degree in Liberal studies with a minor in Media Communications. Andrew did his internship at SATV and after graduating got a job at Wilmington Community Television then came back to SATV to work as a part-time employee. He is very grateful and excited to be a part of the SATV team and hopes to continue to build off this great opportunity. Andrew hopes to make television production his career.
