Assistive Listening System

Assistive Listening

Salem Access Television now has an assistive listening system available for anyone who is deaf or hard of hearing.  The system is available for community meetings and studio productions.  It consists of a transmitter with a microphone, and a receiver with headphones and works much like a wireless microphone system.

It’s available to any member and anyone in the community who attends a meeting at SATV and is hearing-impaired.

Please ask the staff if you need to use the system or if you want more information.  SATV wishes to thank the Salem Commission on Disabilities for their technical assistance in making this possible.  SATV has always been committed to serving people with disabilities who live, work, attend school, or visit the city of Salem.
