LEVEL 2 WORKSHOPS
 iMovie Basic Certification
IMovie non-linear editing software is mainly used to edit shorter, less complicated programs. Through a set of editing exercises you will become comfortable with editing techniques using iMovie. This class will cover basic editing, transitions, trimming techniques, audio adjustments and titles. We will also touch on titles. Our primary focus is gaining competency and comfort with this basic software package. Upon completion of the class, members will be certified to use iMovie for editing.
Class limit: 2
Session length: 8 hours (broken up into four 2 hour workshops)
Member Prerequisite: orientation, level I Understanding Digital Video Editing workshop, raw footage (on VHS or mini DV tape) ready to edit into a program for cablecast.
Fee: FREE for members- booklet provided.
DVD Authoring
This hands-on session will introduce participants to iDVD and demonstrate the basic process for creating a DVD to organize text, image, audio, and video files into an attractive interface. You will use Apple's theme templates and explore customization options for creating inviting and individualized interfaces.
Class limit: 3
Session length: 2 hours
Member Prerequisite: orientation, level I Understanding Digital Video Editing and level II iMovie Basic Certification, completed program ready for mastering for final broadcast.

Advanced Studio Production
Practical experience is offered to improve lighting, use of special effects, and advanced graphics. Creativity is encouraged, utilizing the abilities acquired in Basic Studio Production level I.
Class limit: 12 with no less than 3 to initiate
Session length: 4 hours (broken up into two 2 hour workshops)
Member Prerequisite: orientation, level I Basic Studio Production.
Fee: FREE for members- booklet provided.
Advanced Linear Editing
Apply your skills from Basic Linear editing and go a step further with audio, and graphics.
Class limit: 3
Session length: 4 hours (broken up into two 2 hour workshops)
Member Prerequisite: orientation, one successfully produced large studio show or raw footage (on VHS tape) ready to edit into a program for cablecast.
Fee: FREE for members- booklet provided.
Become a Director
Learn how to be a Director! Become the main part of a studio shoot.
Class limit: 5
Session length: 2 hours
Member Prerequisite: orientation, level I crew member (all) or level II Advanced Studio Production.
