LEVEL 3 WORKSHOPS
 Final Cut Pro Basic Certification
Through a set of simple editing exercises you will become comfortable with standard editing techniques using Final Cut Pro. This class will cover: basic editing, transitions, trimming techniques, audio adjustments and titles. Our primary focus is gaining competency and comfort with basic nonlinear editing techniques and vocabulary as they apply to cutting with Final Cut Pro. Upon completion of the class, members will be certified to use Final Cut Pro for editing.
Class limit: 2
Session length: 8 hours (broken up into four 2 hour workshops)
Member Prerequisite: orientation, level I Understanding Digital Video Editing workshop, level II iMovie Basic Certification and raw footage ready to edit into a program for cablecast.
Fee: FREE for members- booklet provided.
Final Cut Pro: Advanced Tools and Techniques
This workshop builds on skills acquired in your Final Cut Pro Basic Certification. We will take an in-depth look at audio/video editing tools and techniques, titles and transparencies, graphics preparation for import, motion and special effects plug-ins, video capture and playback to tape, EDL import/export, file types, menu items, key commands and preferences. Bring your footage, as we will use it to explore some of the advanced features of Final Cut Pro.

Session length: 4 hours (broken up into two 2 hour workshops)
Member Prerequisite: orientation, level I Understanding Video Editing workshop, level II iMovie Basic Certification, DVD Authoring and level III Final Cut Pro Basic Certification. Members must have raw footage ready to edit into a program for cablecast.

Portable Studio
With this class come special borrowing privileges like switchers, multiple cameras, record decks, etc. Take the studio set-up outside of SATV! Produce professional shows all at once, without further editing. Upon completion of the workshop you and your crew can take this workshop and get certified to take out this giant kit called the portable studio.
Class limit: 5
Session length: 4 hours (broken up into two 2 hour workshops)
Member Prerequisite: orientation, level I Basic Studio Production, two produced large studio shows.
