LEVEL 1 WORKSHOPS
Orientation
A one-session introduction to what an SATV membership is all about, including the benefits and responsibilities of a membership and SATV rules and regulations. This is a mandatory workshop for all members.
Class Limit: Unlimited

Member Prerequisite:
Membership form needs to be filled out and fees paid in full. SATV member handbook will be provided and statement of compliance form needs to be signed by member after completion of workshop or ASAP before a member can access equipment/classes.
After orientation and statement of compliance form completion members can schedule any of the level 1 training classes.
Digital Camera Certification
This class introduces you to SATV’s HD video cameras and the rudimentary concepts of producing a TV program. Automatic camera operation is fairly simple and straight forward, but full manual camera operation requires practice and mastering.
Learn the basics of digital video with the intention of producing a program to be aired on an SATV channel and the rules/guidelines regulating SATV’s channels and time slots.
Upon completion of the class and instructor approval, members will be certified for camera usage to record raw footage.

Adobe Premiere CC Basic Certification
Adobe Premiere CC editing software is cutting edge professional and consumer software. This class will cover a basic Adobe Premiere CC software interface overview, basic editing and content management.

Basic Studio Production
This class is designed for the media producer who requires the basic skills and knowledge to create a TV studio production. Members learn how to produce, direct and be part of a TV program. The class includes the use of studio cameras, audio equipment, video switcher, lighting, graphics, and instruction in producing, directing, copyright issues and interviewing techniques/skills.

Lighting and Audio
Learn the concept of 3 point lighting and an introduction to different microphones.
